USBC PD Power Module

To aid in a future project, I needed a high current 5V supply in a small form factor. The chosen architecture is based around a USBC PD 60W power supply (20V/3A) with a large buck converter. The AP33771 PD negotiator was used to communicate with the power brick, a TPS51397-based 5V/10A buck for the main supply, LMR51420 3.3V/2A for a supplementary power supply and a set of 3 INA236 power monitors for the input and 2 output rails.

The 4-layer PCB has large power pours and a very compact footprint of 18x50mm for 60W total input power. It can be populated with 0.1″ headers or castellated pads for easy integration into other designs with top-side only assembly to sit flush.
